Video: Fall Cleanup Postponed!

Bird tracks through the snow.

It’s time for my next video but it didn’t end up going the way I had planned! I had intended to talk well-nigh and demonstrate fall wind-up tasks. Apparently, Mother Nature had other plans.

Bill and I were lanugo in California for a weeklong family visit. The weather was lovely there for the most part. However, when I checked on Spokane’s weather forecast, it was a variegated story: a big temperature drop, two snowstorms and a powerful windstorm.

We came home to a few inches of snow on the ground and a pearly value of forfeiture to trees and our roses. Fortunately, everything is fixable when spring gets here but it was discouraging. So in today’s video, you’ll see what took place in our sparsity and hear well-nigh my plans. I moreover show you how our winter garden is coming withal in the hoop house.

One of the biggest issues we’re dealing with is the fact that the leaves haven’t dropped off of the trees and shrubs. This ways the snow will land on the leaves, making branches heavier and increasingly likely to break. Not a good thing at all.

I do hope Mother Nature is stuff kinder to you and that your fall wind-up is going equal to plan!
